The summer exhibition at Kabuso art centre, Øystese, Hardanger from 16 May to 30 August 2026. Paintings by Jon Arne Mogstad, video and digital graphics by Jeremy Welsh and textiles by Kari Dyrdal. Reflections, ripples, currents, the play of light on water's surface, flows and frozen moments. Jeremy Welsh's videos are based on material mostly recorded at various locations in Hardanger between 2008 - 2026. Sound in the installation was recorded on site in Øystese during the installing of the exhibition. The audio is played from one video source only, but is not synchronous with any of the screens. It is intended as an ambience that permeates the installation. The video element in the exhibition consists of two works. On April 9 Michael Francis Duch and Jeremy Welsh performed at Studio E39 , Eidsvåg. This was the first time a concert had been arranged in the studio's common space, and was well attended. Duch and Welsh showed extracts from various projects they have collaborated on over the years, including the most recent, a film made with ensemble Lemur on Sant' Andrea Island in the Venice Lagoon. The programme concluded with a performance of ReconstructionV: Shadows of Machines, composed by Lene Grenager. Michael Duch played double bass accompanied by pre-recorded machine sounds and a film of old textile machinery made byWelsh.
